Speaking of K Rations, this is very much like a K Ration of the 1950's. Closest I could get from the slightly out of focus shot and id="hidden31" class="buttons"> the network of burrows it had formed was that it's a termite of some sort, perhaps a red termite but termites can express the colour of what they consume, so if it was eating something rusty (rust leaching into the cardboard) in there, that could account for the colour. ....وسعت 1
