The director general of the Health and Population Office in Taiz, Abdul Rahim al-Samae, said that the Ministry of Health distributed intravenous solutions and some drugs to treatment centers amid expectations of decreasing these numbers. اليمن | انتشار وباء حمى الضنك في تعز خلال الفترة الأخيرة بدأ مرض حمى الضنك بالانتشار في مدينة تعز جنوبي اليمن، الأمر الذي خلف 5 وفيات، وإصابة نحو 800 شخص بهذا المرض خلال شهرين فقط، وفي الوقت نفسه حذر أطباء من تفاقم حالة الوباء وانتشار المرض إن لم يتم احتوائه بالصورة المثالية، وذلك عن طريق رش أماكن تواجد البعوض الذي ينقل الفيروس وتوعية المجتمع للتخلص من تجمع المياه في مناطقهم، فضلا عن الجانب العلاجي والتشخيصي الذي يحتل جزءا كبيرا من علاجه. وقال مدير عام مكتب الصحة والسكان في تعز، عبدالرحيم السامعي، إن وزارة الصحة وزعت محاليل وريدية وبعض الأدوية على المراكز العلاجية وسط توقعات بتناقص هذه الأعداد.
