Kate & Anthony [Bridgerton (+2x08)] | | Hanging By A Thread

Y'ALLL Kanthony is absolutely insane I am OBSESSED!! I'm sooooo excited to see more of them in season 3! tbh season 1 was pretty good but I wasn't a HUGE fan. Season 2, however, completely sold me... I absolutely LOVE this show now!! I really liked how s2 chose to focus more on the emotional connection between the main ship rather than the physical one... It was super refreshing after how excessive the mature content in s1 was lol.... BUT ANYWAYS.... I never expected to like Anthony this much when I first started the show. I haven't read the books the show is based on, and I wasn't really a fan of his in s1, so coming into season 2 knowing it would be about his love story had me a little wary. Seeing the trailer with him and Kate before the show aired had me pretty excited for the new season, but I still half expected Anthony to be no more than just half of a new ship I'd kind of like. But, getting to learn more about his backstory and the motivations behind his usually misguided but well-intended actions was AMAZING. He's one of my favorite characters on the show now. Also, I'm actually starting to ship Polin now because of this season?? Didn't see that coming lol bc they literally follow one of my least favorite ship tropes (childhood friends where the girl falls first and the guy is oblivious (if you've seen dawson's creek you'll know why I hate that trope lol))..... BUT whether it was the actors or the writers or both I'm not sure, they REALLY sold me on them this season. I can't wait to see more of them!! Just more proof that writing wins out over tropes every time. tbh I'm actually considering editing them bc I think I found a song that would work.... I just need to actually have the time to make it lol. I've been working two jobs and so my free time is almost nonexistent. ANYWHO, I'm not really sure if I like how this vid turned out. I don't normally edit with instrumental songs, but I absolutely love the sound of this one and have been waiting for the right ship to edit it with for a while (tbh I will still always think of spuffy first when I hear it though, thanks to the AMAZING vid by GossipVal1 where I first heard it from). It's just the perfect song for vidding lol.... But, I really wasn't sure what the outcome of this video would be. I wanted to keep it pretty simple so that I could focus more on the voiceovers/scenes. I wanted to just kind of let the ship speak for itself instead of matching scenes up with lyrics to help underline my view of them lol. It was definitely a lot more work than I was expecting. A good challenge. I'm not sure this is a vidding style I will do very often though lol. BUT, I'm glad I attempted it and if it didn't turn out as well as I hoped then oh well ig lol...
