@
@shadertheboiمنذ 3 سنواتI used to stay at one of the units in that row of shophouses on Syed Alwi Road during my childhood days. I missed those days where my grandaunt would open id="hidden11" class="buttons"> her "stall" at the base of the stairs of the shophouse that we stayed in. Every early morning, it will always be so bustling with people where patrons go around their normal marketing routine and the stallholders preparing their stock to sell. My Grandaunt would prepare her dishes at our home kitchen upstairs, e.g. Char Bee Hoon, Char Mee, Char Kway Teow, etc. This is one part of my childhood that I wouldn't mind reliving again and again. I believe this is one experience that can't be found anywhere else. From time to time when I reminiscence those times, it just brings up a wonderful feeling; anyone who has been through similar living conditions would understand. When I grew older, only then I realized that I have unknowingly lived through the actual "Kampong Spirit/Togetherness" during my childhood, an experience that you can never get now in current Singapore. I miss my Grandaunt so much; especially her cooking. ....وسعت1
