Delta NLC stages protest in Asaba against proposed amendments to the national minimum wage

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Delta State Chapter on Wednesday joined their counterparts across the country to stage a peaceful protest in Asaba, in solidarity against the proposed amendments to the minimum wage for Nigerian workers. The protest is coming on the heels of an attempt by some lawmakers at the National Assembly to remove the Minimum Wage from the Exclusive Legislative List to the Concurrent Legislative List.
