Thanks for the tip about DTVN credit. I just went to the help section, then Live Chat. I simply asked for a credit for losing CBS. They said they were very sorry for the blackout. They also told me they are negotiating with CBS for its return. In the meantime, they gave $15 off for 2 months. Their Live Chat works great. Only took me about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, I just ordered CBS All Access. ...

I did and guess what else is there?...local PBS!! first time I’ve been able to get that on any service. ...

When I started the convo, with the question about the blackouts, I only got a canned response and suggestions of which topic I should choose. This lasted about 15 to 20 mins and I could not get live help. But, to get the live help, I changed my area of questioning to billing! I asked if they had received my last payment! I had live help within 20 secs! I got a $15 discount for 2 months with additional months if the locals don't come back! ... 3

This is why I'm not too fond of large mergers .. kind of reminiscent of the bank crisis creating too large to fail companies. Nevermind risking destroying otherwise good and solvent companies in their wake. ... 7

BTW I have HULU and CBS All Access for Star Trek Discovery (dumb season 2) .. becoming Star Trek Picard??!! @DJaquithFL5 years ago I'd say 90% of the time people know the too-good-to-be-true aren't. Piracy is actually relatively easy to stop, you simply threaten the actual ISP / Provider with being blacklisted. I wasn't a 100% certain Philo was legit until I took a minute to research the company. ... 1
