@kmeadows1008 months ago It's just the timing of the fall, the turning heads, the silence and then the two cymbal dings. It's such perfect comedic timing I would almost believed it was planned. Except I know it wasn't because they're middle schoolers doing a Weezer cover so this is more the universe simply remaining in balance. ... 115

@jman9348 months ago Even though this is 9 years ago never let a bad experience like this stop you from chasing your passions, I remember my first gig as a drummer. I was completely out of time and the performance was a shambles, the singers told me I was a shit drummer and I should quit. I'm so glad i didnt listen to them because now i can play drums, guitar and sing with a intermediate understanding of piano, now I just graduated with a degree in music and sound production most of this was self taught. Keep on pushing lads and let this be your fuel to greatness ... 238

@prestondallas40358 months ago 1st off, props to you guys for having the courage to get on stage in front of a crowd. 2nd, equipment malfunctions are a part of playing a live gig (so don't sweat it) besides, when you're big and famous you'll have a staff of dudes to assist with picking up stuff when it falls. I have been gigging with a band for over 20 yrs and I van tell ya, shit happens. The important thing is to just keep going. We have had speakers fall off of their stands had people vomit on our monitors, broken guitar strings and our drummer got wildly kissed by a chick in the middle of a song and that's just to name a few things they have unexpectedly happened while playing live. Just imagine when you guys are sitting around twenty years from now telling exaggerated stories of stuff that happened this will be your first blooper story LOL! Don't let this incident scare you away from following your musical dreams like I said earlier you got on stage in front of all those people and that's the hardest part a of being a musician ... 6

@timothybruneau41738 months ago This evokes memories of a performance when I was one of the drummers in my Jr. High School stage band. I was standing behind my snare drum (that's what each of us had) and suddenly, my drum stand collapsed, but thanks to the gift of my fast reflexes, I caught the snare drum before it went all the way to the floor. My dad said when I came back up, my face was red as a beet. It was scary but could have been a lot worse had the drum fallen all the way to the floor. ... 1
