Power of Hearts (Jar of Hearts Parody) Feat. Pinkie Rose

Finally...FINALLY. After nearly two years of working, reworking, casting, re-casting, writing lyrics and re-writing them once I lost them using small snipets of vocal samples that I had from previous takes, I present you with: The Power of Hearts. This was a labor of love for everyone involved. With the original vocalist for Cadence changing half-way through, and the talented Pinkie Rose being kind enough to step up and help out so that I could see this come to fruition, to the horror of editing older files with newer files, being interrupted by life and work and everything else; now, now there is finally something that I don't mind putting up. This is the story of the Crystal Empire, the past, present, and future. Of two rulers who sought to use the power of love to win the day. Only one was victorious, and the other was doomed to spend the rest of their days in search of what they could never obtain. I don't know what it is about me and Chrysalis songs, but I really enjoy the depth of character the show could explore, and maybe I do think there's some good in her deep down, and that, as the lyrics say, can't help being her when "hunger takes control". This might be my last one for a while with her but we shall see. She's just so easy to make parodies of! A BIG thank you to Jastrian for stepping it up and doing an amazing job with editing this. He was there through the entire process and the madness that were my vocal files. Thank you for being patient with me! And of course Pinkie Rose, for giving a lovely soft voice to Cadence to counteract the darker, fiercer tones of Chrysalis. Give them both love on their channels too!!
