Swimming pools might seem like destinations you just head to on vacation, but some pools can actually be marvels of engineering. Engineers can conceive of many creative and original ways to build pools, sometimes taking advantage of natural wonders and other times conceiving new pools from scratch, and the end result is pooled you can't wait to jump into. We bring you ten of these irresistible pools in this video, and we dare you not to feel vacation envy. There’s the Hotel Villa Honegg Pool which is an outdoor infinity pool with a whirlpool area. It provides a bird's-eye view of the valleys and lake below. The Deep Dive is the deepest indoor diving pool in the world. The pool is 196 feet (60 meters) deep and features an underwater city as well as a film studio. The Crocosaurus Cove allows you to swim with the world's largest saltwater crocodiles. A transparent cage protects swimmers from crocodiles. The Hotel Hubertus' suspended pool is 40 feet (12 meters) above the ground. The pool is 82 feet (25 meters) long and has a glass bottom. The San Alfonso del Mar pool is large enough to accommodate a boat. It spans 20 acres and is 3,323 feet (1,012 meters) long. The Surf Lakes wave pool produces five distinct types of waves.
