Richa Chadda Inaugurates India’s 1st Holistic LGBT Clinic & Community-based ART Centre

Bollywood actress Richa Chadda and activist Ashok Row Kavi inaugurated India’s first holistic LGBTQ clinic and community-based Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) centre by The Humsafar Trust. Richa Chadha has extended her hand to support this campaign. This center will have facilities for treatment and care of the people of the LGBT community forced to live on the margins of society. All this will be done in collaboration with Mumbai's AIDS District Control Society and FHI 360. It is supported by the Government of India.The close relatives of Richa Chadha said that she was quite vocal about the rights of the community. Richa has been very active to scrap Section 377. That's when Richie did not hesitate to do the job when it came to the help of community center to come forward. The Medical Clinic will have the facility of Mental Health Counseling for those associated with the community.
