AECC University College is a specialist institution with an international reputation for musculoskeletal health education, healthcare and related research Founded in 1965, it was the first chiropractic school in Europe to be recognised by the British Chiropractic Association. Today, in addition to chiropractic, we offer courses in other subject areas such as psychology, sport and exercise science, clinical exercise and rehabilitation, radiography, physiotherapy, sport psychology and medical ultrasound. Your time and AECC is not just about your studies – though of course that plays a very big part. Our Student Services offers support and guidance to help you make the most of it. From library and learning services, to practical support and guidance on everything from writing good essays to wellbeing and counselling. It’s a tight-knit, supportive learning community, all set in a spectacular seaside location with no shortage of things to do, and a life of its own. The campus itself is as beautiful as its setting. There’s a vibrant social side to university college life, with an on-site gym, bars and restaurants. As well, of course, as some incredible facilities for learning. Students get the opportunity to intern at our on-site clinic which hosts around 55,000 patients contacts a year. State-of-the-art clinical imaging facilities include one of only seven upright MRI scanners in the country, human performance centres, digital x-ray equipment, quantitative fluoroscopy and high-specification ultrasound scanners.
