@mingle27العام الماضي I have an indoor plant fertilizer tip. If you use a liquid fertilizer take a piece of duct tape about the size of your hand and put it on the side or the id="hidden1" class="buttons"> bottom of the bottle. You can then write on it with a sharpie or really good pain and you can put the date that you fertilized your plant. The duct tape is strong and isn't going to come off if the bottle gets wet or if you need to rinse it or leave it outside. And usually the sharpie or the pen won't come off unless you've introduced rubbing alcohol or acetone to it. ....وسعت 15

A while ago I bought a stressed out Pink Dragon Alocasia and you had a vid with a homemade fertilizer of oats and tea. id="hidden6" class="buttons"> I made a little moderation and I'm using rainwater instead of tap water. I've been watering my Dragon with it and so far, it's doing well. I cut off the dying or crusty leaves, just leaving the healthiest leaf. It only has the one leaf, but it's still going good. Thank you for the recipe and I'll keep using it until it starts to grow new leaves ....وسعت 11

@stephaniedagostinoالعام الماضي For FUNGUS GNATS I swear by neem meal (sometimes called neem cake). You put the powder/pellets in warm water for several hours to make a “tea.” Then you water with it. Repeat for the next 3-4 waterings. It works!! I have tried EVERYTHING. This is the only thing that did it. Smells a little funny but worth it. You can also mix the dry meal into the potting mix when repotting plants. ....وسعت 9

They id="hidden9" class="buttons"> are tough plants. I will leave it out there because I have no more room in my house for plants. I try and keep up with my plants and have decided if they get to big for pot I will trim roots and put back in the same pot. Have a blessed day. ....وسعت 3

@eliskatocikova5124العام الماضي Love your videos! I noticed in couple of them that you use yellow sticky pads for fungus gnats, I used to struggle with them as well for months and then id="hidden11" class="buttons"> discovered nematodes, little parasitic helpers that got rid of the gnats in just one watering! The only downside is that I have a lot less spiders as well as they used to feed on the gnats, haha, and I loved having them around ....وسعت 3

@silviap4478العام الماضي Thank you for your tips. They are a great help to make a list and check all points off.
Just today I checked all plants for pests.
As for id="hidden13" class="buttons"> fungus gnats, I water my plants with Nermatodes every other month. Especially plants that like to stay moist (like calatheas or caladiums) have problems with those pests. But yellow stickers combined with nermatodes work great for me.
I also buy predatory mites every other month to keep off spider mites, just as a precaution. Better safe than sorry with those pests.

The young are too weak to make it through the id="hidden14" class="buttons"> sand. @autumn5852العام الماضي OMG I just got my moisture meter and I have no idea how my little friends have survived this long without it being autistic my brain is wired diffe id="hidden19" class="buttons">rently so my senses are not experienced in the common (I’m trying to stop saying normal) way but I naively thought I could improve my sense of touch by using the finger method and oh, how wrong I was, which is obvious when I think about it ‍♀️ I thought my first plant that I tested was ok for moisture but it turns out, it was bone dry and not only is this great for testing moisture but already it’s taken all the stress out of watering which is good for me and I can hear my plants cheering and saying it’s good for them as well
… I think this is my best plant purchase buy ever it’s definitely taken my plant life to another level ✔️ I highly recommend and can’t wait until the next watering day and I haven’t finished this one yet that’s the adhd brain, always ahead of the game, or so it thinks
Plant moisture metre for the win

Just a small suggestion: You often post links to other videos at the end of your video. When you finish speaking, the videos usually end pretty quickly leaving just little time to press on the suggested links. I often find my self rewinding the video to find these links. It would be nice if you could add a few more seconds at the end of the videos so we have more time to click them!

@dawnt6791العام الماضي I've got a small ponytail plant that's been struggling. Leaves are turning brown and dropping. It's been in the same pot it was in when I bought id="hidden28" class="buttons"> it a few years ago. They had put a layer of gravel siliconed over the whole soil surface, so I haven't been able to get a finger or the moisture meter into it to check moisture level. I finally decided this morning to pull it out and check the roots, per your recommendation for various plant issues. Since I haven't been able to check the moisture level in it, I give it very little water and only when I need to water my much larger ponytail (maybe once a month). Apparently even that was too much. When I removed the 1/2" thick layer of siliconed gravel, the soil was DRENCHED. Ack! No wonder the poor thing wasn't happy. The roots were small and skimpy, so it's not rootbound by any stretch. So I blended the existing soil with some new substrate (including water absorbing elements) and repotted it back into the same pot. Hopefully it'll bounce back. At least now I can actually check the moisture level! ....وسعت 1

@courtneykeepsالعام الماضي I used to have a really bad fungus gnat problem with the houseplants in my bedroom. It was so bad they were disturbing me in my sleep! The best thing I id="hidden32" class="buttons"> ever did was to thickly top dress the plants with vermiculite. I still top water but I do so right at the root crown so the rest of the surface stays dry. Yellow sticky traps are also great for catching those lingering adult flies.
    Problem. Solved.

@terezamacneil8296العام الماضي Thank you very much.
Question please regarding cinnamon- I recently reported my philodendron verucossum to new soil as thought it had fungus in id="hidden35" class="buttons"> the soil in the pot. I sprinkled cinnamon on the top f the soil and in a couple of days the cinnamon started to rot and create fungus looking webbing on it.
