Ant McPartlin was left with a sore neck on Wednesday after filming a playful skit with co-host Declan Donnelly for ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway. The presenter appeared to wince in pain after Dec caught him in a headlock as they worked on pre-recorded material ahead of the show's grand finale this weekend. The pair later shared the incident in a series of behind the scenes clips on Instagram, appropriately captioned Donnelly Chiropractors, with Dec, 45, seen hooking an arm around Ant's neck.  After filming the scene the pair make their way off-camera, where the presenter rehearses a maniacal laugh before asking his co-star: 'Is that a good evil laugh?'  But Ant, 45, appears to have other things on his mind as he painfully twists his neck from side to side.'Somethings gone wrong, I have whiplash!' he tells Dec, prompting more mock evil laughter from the presenter, who doesn't appear to take him seriously.  'I am hurt, it hurts!' he continues, before Dec asks: 'Genuinely?'With Ant nodding in response, the diminutive presenter issues another cackling laugh to camera before returning to his injured colleague and asking if he's OK. 'Yeah, you cracked something there like, woah,' Ant replies.    Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway's next episode will be the end for the season, Stephen Mulhern revealed during last week's show. And viewers were left distraught when they learned the programme would be coming to an end so soon, and ITV revealed on Tuesday that the show has raked in a hugely impressive 8.5 million viewers across the show. The presenter confirmed during Saturday's show that it was the penultimate episode of the season, as he spoke on behalf of the Geordie duo. ITV representatives confirmed to MailOnline that the show was always planned to air just seven episodes, and the same number of episodes were broadcast for last year's show.
