@chadwilliams7119منذ 3 سنوات Great stuff, Jason. Looking forward to the 5G units. I've been happy with my MoFi Sim 7 unit, but I think a 5G device will be a game changer. Good stuff, dude! Thanks 1

@viciouz25منذ 3 سنوات Thanks for your videos, I'm planning to get this for a new home where fibre is not available. My quick question. When asking for a line to be added id="hidden3" class="buttons"> to my account on verizon, i"m given the following option to choose. tablet|connected car|smartphone| smartwatch|other , Supposed I do choose other, then I'm requested to supply the IMEI. Would the IMEI be for the Insty Connect? I read in one of your comments, that it's advisable to get a line instead of a data only line. ....وسعت

@TerriRylanderمنذ 3 سنوات Great vids. Thank you for that! We may potentially replace our Netgear Nighthawk and this is intriguing. We already have an external omni antenna but it has two cables coming in. Are there two antenna ports on this unit?

@stevenrunfola6755منذ 3 سنوات Hello Mr. Sele. I've been using a Visible SIM card with a MoFi 4500 and set it up using your excellent MoFi 4500 training videos. The TTL setting was id="hidden5" class="buttons"> initially very successful in bypassing speed caps. As of Summer 2021 the setting seems to have become irrelevant even with different band settings. My max speed has now dropped back to about 5Mbs . Your probably already aware of this. Any insights ? Thanks ....وسعت

@KB-pw4lcمنذ 3 سنوات Can you please provide the specifics regarding the phone number activation and SIM card. I contacted verizon and they won't just set up a phone number id="hidden6" class="buttons"> and give me a sim card. I have to bring the phone in and they need to set it up. I was under the impression I could just get a phone number activated and a SIM card (and then insert the card in the router). Thanks! ....وسعت

@bry1guyمنذ 3 سنوات Would you choose the Insty Connect over something like the Pepwave MAX Transit Duo?

@theOneThatWasمنذ 3 سنوات So I can just get a carrier like Verizon, activate it on my phone and put it in this router then have internet without being kicked from service or throttled?

@colleentettleton5309منذ 3 سنوات I am currently using a tmobil sim card. I am on the 55+ plan. Do I need a plan with higher data or will a limited data plan work? This isn't prepaid. Thank you for all the information you have provided.

@haskellstricklen1240منذ 3 سنوات I travel the country and use internet for work. I really don’t need 100 mps for my computer. Given the price difference between this and MoFi, is it worth the cost?
  • @
@RangeRov49منذ 3 سنوات That's interesting, I have the MoFi 4500 and an att cell tower basically in my back yard. I get over 100 mbps on my phone, but never over 32 with my id="hidden12" class="buttons"> MoFi, no matter the band. So, with the tower so close and the signal so high, it won't matter if I get the insty connect? ....وسعت

@jwsowalskyمنذ 3 سنوات A stupid question. My iPad Pro doesn't have cellular data. Is there another way to activate a sim card other than inserting it into the iPad??
  • @
    @youka000منذ 3 سنوات A basic set-up question:
I’m getting ready to pull the trigger, and switch from a Verizon shared family account (not my own) to a T-Mobile account with two dedicated lines - one for my cell phone service, and the other for my (soon-to-be) 4G LTE-based internet service.
Can I activate BOTH Sim Cards in the same phone, and then just insert the 2nd Sim Card into the Insty-Connect?
Or do I have to activate the 2nd
Sim Card in a different phone?
Essentially, can I activate two Sim cards, with two different phone numbers, in the same phone?
And, if yes, am I likely to encounter any grief if I try to activate the two lines in-store, with only one phone in hand?
Love your channel! Keep up the good work.

@mikecallahan252منذ 3 سنوات Help, I had a connection issue, it would drop out with good signal. I tried to update and now when you select anypart of the dashbard /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:396: id="hidden16" class="buttons"> No valid theme found
    stack traceback:
    [C]: in function 'assert'

    /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:208: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:207>
that what it show. the insty connect is working, just cant get into any selection. I have a mofi in another rv. when comparing to get help, Mofi answers the phone. Insty has no phone number, just open a ticket. I did. not sure how long it takes to get a response. while I like the speeds. I dislike companies that do not have any telephone support. Not sure if your able to help. but any guidance is appreciated

@getgreen3841منذ 3 سنوات Good morning Sele Training, I am very interested in the insty Connect, however in your comments down below it says it wont give you unlimited data. I am id="hidden18" class="buttons"> a little confused. What if you have unlimited data phone plan and you change the ttl settings to 65, just like the mofi. I did this with the mofi and had unlimited data no caps, no throttle etc. Will this unit do the same. I have cricket, which is ATT. Will it be able to block the same as the mofi so that we can get the true unlimited data that we pay for? Thanks in advance. Love all your videos and the care you put into all of them. Very informative, I am only confused on this one topic. If very important as I use this as primary internet as you do and cant have any caps, throttle, etc. ....وسعت

@lb3406منذ 3 سنوات At 500 + dollars I will wait until the price comes down. The 4500 is two hundred dollars less. I know antennas are expensive but I'm an amateur radio id="hidden20" class="buttons"> operator and maybe I can build an antenna for a less expensive system. We really don't know how the cell carrier s will react to this technology. I already had one bum steer with using the mifi and the so called 5 dollar a month deal. Like always buyer beware. ....وسعت

@nickguidry2213منذ 3 سنوات Hard pass. Exterior parts 3d printed will fail. Also the USB is still exposed to the elements at the antenna. Too many design flaws in this 1
