@Chance-ry1hq9 months agoI’m 66, and I have slept on my stomach my whole life. The only occasional pain I have is from a bulging disk at L5 I injured in my early twenties playing baseball. ( it is mild and I just move to the other side). I swim a mile 3-4 times a week, play tennis 2-3 times a week, lift weights 3 times a week, stretch everyday, do core exercises most days. By the way I can still serve a tennis ball 120mph. No shoulder pain. Now who are you going to take advice from a book taught 30 something YouTuber, or somebody with 66 years of experience. There are pluses and minuses with all sleeping positions. Do what works for you, if you get uncomfortable move to a new position. Stretching, diet, and exercise is far more important than sleeping positions. ...29

@mescellaneous11 months agoi started sleeping like that ONCE i got better posture. i largely dont think that sleep position matters, it only highlights you may have curvature like if you sleep with head forward, or have to curl up. i basically sleep like that and i always make sure one of my legs is straight and my neck is not curled forward. ...

@
@TheAmazingAdventuresOfJ5 months agoGuys the best position to sleep on is on your side, because on your back your tongue kinda “falls down” which could be infront of your airway, and sleeping on your stomach could give you back and neck pain. So sleeping on your side is the best way to sleep, and especially sleeping on your left side, because that doesn’t put any pressure on your internal organs. :) And btw, if anyone does want to sleep in this pose as in the video, you can. Just make sure to not do it for the rest of your life lol. ...
