@eby80698 years ago With Sombra, I've found that because most people go into invisibility right away, you should wait a couple of seconds to use your own. Their invisibility will run out first so you'll know where they are, but they don't know where you are yet. ... 16

@defil3d8 years ago Tip for Ana 1v1: If you land your sleep dart, attack from BEHIND! This almost shuts down the enemy Ana. If you don't do this the enemy Ana will wake up, and can potentially biotic grenade you both while jumping away to be put back into the fight. Or worse, you'll give her the frontal view to sleep dart you back.
Also fun story for Sombra... I actually like running up towards my gate before I throw the teleporter forwards. After that I go invisible and use the teleporter as bait. I've actually watched clueless enemies find my teleporter and camp it, meanwhile I'm cloaked behind them getting a free head killshot. Other than this... I find Sombra just as much of a coin flip as Pharah is TBH. ... 2

@elijahp78998 years ago I'd like to add that in genji 1 v 1s if you right click dash combo whenever you dash you can sometimes get some extra damage in. If you also do this when the enemy genji dashes at you can trade some damage rather than just taking it. ... 2

@theninja05087 years ago i like to wait with sombras invis and just casually run upstairs until i hear the other sombra finish her invis(because EVERYONE does it) and pin point where the sound comes from then use my invis and charge the shit out of it. ... 3

@davidlewis67287 years ago suggestion for phara play, go into the little room with three open spaces (one up two down) and crouch back and forth until they find you, then use bait tactics to kill them, if they get too close at the top, go under them and trap them in it, if they do it from afar, wait them out and see what they do, if they come in from under, shoot the location they are coming from for a direct rocket, use E to dodge any rockets. it is useful when you lack the aim needed for 3d assult. for sombra, much like reaper, it is all about the proweling and deception, only sombra is much better at it, use gurrilla warfare to get the other person to low health, i suggest not using the invis until you get to the doors, and to throw the trans a few seconds after starting invis, the reason being because if the other side uses invis after you do, you will be reveled before they will, giving them the ability to engage how they want to. and the trans is because you have more time to scout out the other's location that way. once you engage, make it a habbit to trans very soon, the four second cooldown allows you to use it quite a lot, try to position it as far away from where you plan to go as possible, look for enemy trans, it usually means they are either nearby or have nowhere left to go but forward, meaning they have no means of escape, so if they engage you, you know where they are, and where they will be, generally. don't make it too obvious that you are camping it though, stay a little bit away from it, just enough to hear if she comes back. never hack unless you think they will use trans to try to escape, even then, use it moderately, never rely on it. if you know the enemy is low on health, but cant see which direction they translocated to, circle around walls to look for the red, try to keep invis on as much as possible. ...

@aethr_rl59647 years ago For the tracer 1v1 it's prob a good idea to, at the beginning try to chip DMG over long periods of time. This way the health that they lose will not be brought to be worth a recall. And if they do use recall u have the advantage ...

@thomasdarista27827 years ago -Pharah: Stay away from walls in the air, or the enemy Pharah will just shoot the wall instead of airshots. Look for your own splash damage opportunities. Shoot walls that Pharah is near.
-Soldier: shoot in bursts to control the gun's bullet spread. Practice a little to see how long your bursts should be before the gun gets too inaccurate, and at what ranges.
-Sombra: Do NOT invis out the gate. Wait a few seconds. This is because the enemy Sombra probably WILL invis out the gate, meaning there will be a window of time where you're invisible, and she isn't. Keep your becon somewhere far to reset the fight. The win condition of Sombra V Sombra is "who get the drop on whom more often?" Stay patient, use your kit to sneak up on her, do like, 20 damage, and teleport out before she can hurt you back. If you get her down to trackable health while you're still at untrackable health, you should have the round in the bag from there.
-Tracer: The win condition is "who gets more value out of their recall?" I like to do chip damage from across the map. If she doesn't recall, then I'll recall what damage I took, and then engage once my recall is off cool down with a health advantage. If she does recall, then I rush her with slightly less health, but a recall in my pocket. Remember, if you heal more than she does with your recall, you should be winning, unless your aim is vastly inferior. If you get rushed after recalling chip damage, blink away. Keep distance if she has recall and you don't.

@jinko17bro7 years ago I always win with reaper by being near the wraith and counting to 3 or just looking at his arms, if you time it right you get the first shot. If you go wraith, I'd say try confusing them on where you are (AKA juke 'em). ...
