@adarshsharma7083منذ 4 سنوات Arun from Mrwhosetheboss just did a battery comparison in which the note completely demolished EVEN while it was at 120hz. • @
@ramoncastillo532منذ 4 سنوات I saw rumors saying the iPhone 12 pro max will have longer battery time, even though the mAH battery is smaller, just because of the A14 power efficiency. 1

@MrDylman55منذ 4 سنوات I've got the note 20 ultra with the 865 plus and there's one thing people need to realize about battery. If you're always gonna be on it all id="hidden7" class="buttons"> day at 120hz refresh rate, you're going to have to charge it. But normal use throughout the day, with a few phone calls, some Instagram, some gaming and some YouTube or another streaming platform. You're not gonna run through the battery. With mine, during a normal day with normal usage, it will end at around 50-60% battery. ....وسعت 1

@htnowproمنذ 4 سنوات It would be interesting to re run the test with both phones in airplane mode with wifi on. There is a good chance the 5G radios use a more power then the old school 4g LTE radios.

@MikeGuy268منذ 4 سنوات I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and it’s an absolute battery monster, I regularly end my day on 40/50%. I haven’t upgraded to the 12 pro max because they made the battery smaller, screen bigger, and added 5G.
  • @
@00SNIVY00منذ 4 سنوات Was the 11 Pro Max on iOS 13? Or iOS 14? What about battery tests for iPhone between iOS types? Like iOS 13 to iOS 14?
  • @
@quitsnow2340منذ 4 سنوات It would be interesting to do the same test but while closing the apps , given that the massive 12gb the note has for keeping all the apps open must be a big part of that drain.
  • @
@cerio9654منذ 4 سنوات Did you set the note to 60Hz mode? If not its not a fair comparison . You could have made two tests like one 60hz and another on 120hz. And then declared the results.
  • @
@Prynczمنذ 4 سنوات The Samsung Galaxy note 20Ultra is it the Snapdragon or Exynos version
  • @
@karatewithelian9014منذ 4 سنوات it's very surprising Samsungs kinda held off especially because of the 120hz screen If it were the 60hz screen maybe it would be the winner but I am not sure by how much 12
  • @
@tealyanمنذ 4 سنوات i mean you gitta admit it's impressive that the note20u on 120hz managed to perform pretty much the same as the note10+ on 60hz,wonder how the n20u would do @60hz tho
  • @
@SushantTrivedi0منذ 4 سنوات Like you calibrate screen brightness and volume to keep the parity, can you please provide also keep the same screen refresh rate to have accurate results?
  • @
@Rcalderon518منذ 4 سنوات I have the note 20 ultra and coming from the iPhone xs the battery is way better so i am very happy with it 1
  • @
@alexk7977منذ 4 سنوات I think you should try it on 60 hz because that's the default setting and the majority people will most likely use it like that.
  • @
    @aniladhikari7987منذ 4 سنوات That's what i wanted from phonebuff
  • @
@AbysmalEndمنذ 4 سنوات i would like to see this test again with the 60hz mode and i would also like to see this test again with the 70% cpu mode as well. because i was able to get a wayyyyyy longer battery life than what was shown here. 4
  • @
@specspec6851منذ 4 سنوات For the next time you do a comparison like this please use the same wallpapers because if the phone's screens were OLED then in the black areas of id="hidden17" class="buttons"> the screen the pixels will be turned off. It's not a huge difference but just to be more accurate use my advice. ....وسعت
  • @
@filip9587منذ 4 سنوات Considering the refresh rate, charging speed, pixel density and display size, the Note 20 Ultra did excellent. Plus, the Note has an S pen that's always useful and a more pleasing and smooth refresh rate.
  • @
@noname-td5jvمنذ 4 سنوات Do the same test but put adaptive refresh rate on thats the main battery saver according to Samsung 1
  • @
@Dman1812منذ 4 سنوات Lol I wonder what everyone’s excuse is going to be once Apple releases their 120hz iPhone and it still wins the battery test 25

@ahmed4kpمنذ 4 سنوات As a Note20 ultra user, when I use the phone with the 120hz is really consumes so much battery, sometimes it doesn't last till the end of the day. id="hidden19" class="buttons"> But when I switch off to 60hz, the battery becomes incredibly better and when I go to sleep my phone usually around 20% ....وسعت
  • @
@VoodooMadMike41منذ 4 سنوات We should also be making 1440p + 60Hz tests as some people may favour the Quad HD at 60Hz over Full HD at 120Hz.
I reckon at 60Hz, the Note would be within 5-10% of the iPhone.
  • @
@Imhopaمنذ 4 سنوات Hi . Ex me. How can i add standby button to app on note 20 ultra . Tanks a lot
  • @
@LucaDarioButzbergerمنذ 4 سنوات Very nice video but it seems kind of like an bad comparison. You calibrated the screen brightness and sound volume to the exact same level but kept the id="hidden21" class="buttons"> 120Hz on the Note 20 activated.
It would have been nice to either have a apples to apples comparison with the 120Hz disabeled, bringing booth phones as close together in settings as possible. Or to max out every setting on booth phones and use them in the most taxing way booth phones are designed too.
Sure, I don't know how much energy the 120Hz consumes but as far as I heard, quite a lot. I don't think that the Note would outperform the 11 Pro Max but I am sure the actual difference would be much smaller.

@emmanuelodutola3480منذ 4 سنوات With the A13 processor, I guess apple is not shifting their focus on speed but power efficiency also.
  • @
@ShadowYTiمنذ 4 سنوات Why don't you ask a group what settings they use, I use power saving with a p30 and it lasted longer than them all, just a recommendation!
  • @
@statichelix804منذ 4 سنوات Wow and I only use 1-3 apps at a time with power saving mode at 20% screen brightness and all apps closed when my phone screens off. Imagine the battery life
  • @
@kmixmashupsمنذ 4 سنوات You should have set the note to 60fps that would be way more fair that’s why it was so different
  • @
@michas7513منذ 4 سنوات @phonebuff it seems that the screen on time summary for the Note is wrong. The total time the screen was on is under 8h.
  • @

  • @
