The last of the Avari have now returned to our lands – ready to take up arms and join the legions of the Thorn. Not only have they brought their own strength to our armies, but they have also passed on their knowledge of smithing and weaponcrafting to our armouries. Thanks to our alliance with the dwarves of Erebor – we have a steady supply of high quality Iron, whilst the men of Dale provide us strong yew bows. The legions of the Thorn stand ready, men and elves fight like brothers in arms. Soon they shall march south – to crush the pretender Khan of Khand, and root out the evil that looms over Mordor.
