Lipogenesis of palmitate (16 carbon) by 8 acetyl CoA . cetyl CoA transport from mitochondria to citosol by citrate shuttle, sources of NADPH (main one is pentose phosphate pathway, another two minor sources ,malic enzyme and isocitrate dehydrogenase), convert 7 of acetyl CoA by rate limiting enzyme acetyl CoA carboxylase enzyme ,one acetyl CoA remain as primer, fatty acid synthetase enzyme complex consist of 7 enzyme (dimer enzyme consist of two monomer each monomer have two end SH)
