My Joni Lamb & Doug Weiss Divorce Video With Jimmy Evans Went Viral- My Defense of the Video

So i did a video on Jimmy Evans explaining why Doug Weiss divorced his ex wife Lisa and remarried Joni Lamb after the death of her husband Marcus. Joni and Marcus Lam started the Daystar TV network which is viewed by 100 million people. My first video went viral. With 65,000 views and 2,000 comments. People were hungry to talk about this topic. Jimmy Evans is a marriage counselor and pastor with 40 years of experience. Was brought in to help with Doug's divorce situation and be a friend to Joni. And Jimmy seemed to indicate that Doug was justified in his divorce to his ex wife Lisa. Now gave a very general explanation. But the essence was that he felt Doug was emotional abused over a long period of time and their was no remorse. So therefore he was justified to divorce his ex wife. Jimmy did not mention infidelity at all. And said god showed him that when a person behaves badly over a long time period that they are acting like an unbeliever and therefore not a believer The problem is with all of this is this. That the divorce wasn't the problem most people had with this situation. The thing that made people unset was not that he divorced but he remarried Joni Lamb. The large majority of the comments were that Jimmy was not following scripture. Because you can divorce but you are not to remarry Unless you partner was unfaithful. Or your partner dies. In this video i am going to speak into the reaction to the video. You are going to want to watch the whole video. Isn't this just between Doug and Joni and God? What i hoped was to do a bible study on divorce and remarriage. What i hoped was to get a conversation going on the topic to see what other thought on this matter. I wanted to use this situation as a learning and teaching moment for the body of Christ. One thing i have been shocked in having a youtube channel. How much i learn from you guys. And even in this video. The comments were rich and i learned so much. Although i was happy to get a discussion and bible study going on the matter. Although ii was happy the video went viral. I was grieved that many of the comments turned into an attack on Joni, Doug and Jimmy Evans. I never intended that at all. And a bit grieved by this. Maybe i should have known. You live and learn for sure I am going to release another video soon on the reaction that most people had to the video. But i wanted to release this video first. To deal with the main objections people had with the video saying i shouldn't have made it Please comment below to let me know your thoughts.
