GPU Prices going down in 2022 as Crypto Crashes. The Graphics Card Market is poised to go back to normal FINALLY in 2022. When will GPU Prices go down to MSRP in 2022? Some major changes in the GPU market need to happen, and they are coming in the first half of 2022. Cryptocurrency GPU mining, particularly Ethereum GPU Mining, has been driving 2021 GPU prices to insane levels way above MSRPs. BUT, a major Crypto Crash is happening, and big changes are coming which will end GPU Mining, end the GPU Demand from Miners, and unleash a tidal wave of used GPUs on the market. Meanwhile there are major developments for GPU Supply coming in, which should give the GPU market a double punch it needs to get GPU Prices back to normal in 2022. If you want to get a new GPU right now, what should you be doing? You can get a GPU, you just need these tips. We go step by step on what is going on with the GPU market, when will the GPU shortage end, when will GPU prices go down to MSRP, and how to use these tools to get a new or used GPU in 2021 and in the 2022 GPU Market. There are other alternatives to getting a new GPU for your PC build. You can of course buy a prebuilt gaming PC with the latest RTX 3000 series card and even the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 CPU. See the link above for my video on the best prebuilt gaming PCs in 2021. And there are now RTX 3000 series gaming laptops out. While the laptop performance will not match the desktop card of the same series due to thermal and power limits, it will still provide a powerful gaming experience. #PCGaming #PCBuild #GPU _______________ Timestamps 0:00 GPU Prices Crashing??! 0:24 Cheap Windows 10? 0:58 Current GPU prices EBay & Retail 1:33 Big GPU Price Drop on RTX 3000 Cards 1:56 This RTX GPU Has Fallen Even More 2:21 MASSIVE Price Drop on AMD GPUs 3:13 OMG How is This GPU Finally In Stock? 3:58 Massive Downswing Since This Date 4:27 Did AMD & NVIDIA Low End GPU Launch Help? 6:20 Here's Why GPU Prices Are Crashing 7:11 This is Where All Your GPUs Are . . . 8:35 More Trouble for GPU Mining! 9:20 GPU Mining Profits Are Down To This Level 10:36 Flood of Used GPUs Incoming?! 11:52 Used GPU Prices falling quickly 12:55 Rating EVERY Used GPU for Price to Performance 15:19 When Do New GPU Prices Go Down To MSRP? 15:56 Intel GPUs Delayed? @AAjaxمنذ 2 سنوات Based on comments I've seen in miner channels and reddits, a good percentage of ETH miners have no clue how market cap factors into the overall hash id="hidden2" class="buttons"> rate a token can support. Not only do they think they'll be able to switch to low-cap alts, they also think there's a good chance those alts will go up in value with all of the extra mining "securing the network."
I don't think you'll see a mass sell off of miner GPUs until the truth is completely undeniable, at which point the GPU resale market will be flooded.

@SuperPunsمنذ 2 سنوات I suspect the prices will go down before the ETH-merge because miners know that from that day on they wont make any more money with the GPUs, which means id="hidden3" class="buttons"> accumulating new GPUs will not be as valuable to them in the weeks/months leading up to it. Furthermore they are probably expecting a drop in GPU prices, which is an incentive for selling early. There could be a flip side to this however because removing GPUs from the ETH network will in turn increase the profitability for the miners left in the mix. Either way i expect the whole process to involve a lot of game theory shenanigans and look forward to finding out what is actually going to happen :) ....وسعت 49

@seanC3iمنذ 2 سنوات I would advise even low end buyers to wait until May. Intel is supposed to be going all-in on the low to midrange market with Arc, a flood of cost-effective id="hidden4" class="buttons"> low-to-midrange cards would be the perfect F.U. to all the nonsense of the last couple of years and you might even get a good deal on a card that would suit your needs. If you absolutely must have a graphics card now, because your existing card died or you need something with graphical processing for a video editing workstation or something, then so be it. But if you can wait, wait until some time in Q2. ....وسعت 74

@SanjeevKumar-ik7xsمنذ 2 سنوات I spent about 2 days in a local tech market (india), hunting for good prices(last week). What I saw and what pretty much every vendor said was miners are id="hidden9" class="buttons"> still buying GPUs in bulk. Which means more the price drops, the more cards end up with miners.
Only way this ends imo(humble) is "IF" crypto crashes completely. That might not happen.

Nobody notices that the 6900xt id="hidden10" class="buttons"> is literally in-stock constantly at only 50% over launch MSRP. I've even seen it go for 1200. @fscottblodgett2132منذ 2 سنوات Great explanation and presentation. I am on an extremely tight budget so I will be waiting. I am patient, besides the only game I am currently playing id="hidden11" class="buttons"> is Skyrim. Ironically I had a GTX 1650 Super back in July of 2020. I paid $160 plus tax $174. Unfortunately it was just one generation to new for my ancient PC so regrettably shipped it back and picked up a GT 1030. Fine for what it is but I wished I had kept the 1650 Super and put it aside until I could do a budget build. Which now have what I need minus the GPU. The decision made sense at the time, I was in between jobs knew nothing about cryptocurrency and its effect on GPU prices. However I will remain optimistic. Thanks. ....وسعت 8

@wimpie031منذ 2 سنوات Got a RX 580 8GB. Hoping to upgrade to a 1440p capable, high settings GPU for a “normal” price and I’m more then willing to wait even longer. It’s a very solid 1080p card and I don’t mind playing at lower settings or even at 1080p resolution sometimes. I’m not going to let the high prices destroy my gaming pleasure. Guess it’s all relative. Then again, I’m “lucky” I already got a system.
It really sucks for people wanting to get into PC gaming though.
I’m not so sure about ETH going to POS this summer, they already delayed it a few times. I’ll believe that if I see it, but . fingers crossed it will happen this year.

You are awesome on the technical side, on the marketing and presentation creation side and on the 'performing and giving a great presentation' side. I think that combination of skills is rare. @Jkend199منذ 2 سنوات Here is the big question (from my perspective) Is buying a used mining card worth it. It is my understanding that mining is 24-7, for months at a time. id="hidden33" class="buttons"> Even if that is not as hard on a GPU as gaming, no one games 24-7. In just 6 months that's almost 4400 hours on that GPU, I'm not sure I have that many hours on the 5 year old GPU in my current system. How long do these mining GPU's last, can I buy a mining GPU that been running 24-7 for a year or more and expect that it will last at least 3 more years as a gaming GPU is that realistic after a card has been mining 24-7 for the last 16 months. I don't want to pay some miner full freaking price for a used card that burns out in 6 months with 0 recourse, in fact I don't want to buy from a miner period. I guess I feel like if those cards don't sell on the used market a lot of miners would lose money when they became unprofitable and didn't sell and that in itself would discourage mining. People get into this whole Crypto thing and there's very little risk because they know they know that when the market crashes they can sell their shit to gamers and make back a lot of what they spent. ....وسعت 10

@eddiechi1منذ 2 سنوات Figure most have a 2 week window to buy GPUs right now, at their lowest prices since the crypto dump in June/July after that crypto prices increased for id="hidden41" class="buttons"> about 4 months to new all time highs and looking at the charts it seems crypto on similar trajectory of rebounding again after a expected pullback. majority of TA's expect eth prices to continue to rise to new all time highs as we get closer to the difficulty bomb/merge
    - if you don't catch this current trend of lower prices in the market you probably wont have a chance again until the eth difficulty bomb hits - but the difficulty bomb has been pushed back multiple times already going back years. if they push it back 1 more time you will be looking at the 2022 holiday season again

@billwiley7216منذ 2 سنوات For those they want a high end GPU and have something to get by with best advice at this late stage of the game in the 30 series cards life span is wait id="hidden42" class="buttons"> for the newer faster 40 series cards to release.
Many times people are waiting for the newer series to release and the prices to drop on the older series as retailers want to clear the old stock to make room for the new.
With the low supply problems you will not be seeing the blow out prices on older cards, the retailers just do not have that stock to have to unload on this go round.
But really why would a person pay the high price for a 3090 now ( if you already have something like even a 1070 to get you by for a few months) when in a matter of months the 4080 will be a faster cheaper option with the latest upgrades in the dlss and ray tracing generational advances? Just does not make sense.
