Paternoster Lift the Elevator of Death

A paternoster or paternoster lift is a passenger elevator which consists of a chain of open compartments that move slowly in a loop up and down inside a building without stopping. Passengers can step on or off at any floor they like. The construction of new paternosters is no longer allowed in many countries because of the high risk of accident for people who cannot use the lift properly. This one is located in the post office building in Brno, Czech Republic near the main train station. Please be careful riding this elevator as one mistake can make you lose a limb or arm.
