My First FD Mount Lens Photography Outing With The Canon EOS M5 and a 28mm f/2.8 Lens

I bought a few low cost film era lenses on KEH so that I could explore more of the older lenses. In this video we are taking a look at my first FD breech-lock lens and taking my first photos with it on the M5 called the Focal MC Auto 28mm f/2.8. I was using a Fotasy FD-EOSM adapter. The mounting system takes some time to get used to, but once you are familiar with how it work then it's pretty easy. In the case of this lens and a few others I usually buy them on KEH as bargain rated "miscellaneous brand" of a given focal length and aperture. You still get the warranty when it's bargain rated and they tend to rate them conservatively anyways. I'll say I'm very surprised by the photos!
